Hmmm.  I must have gotten that from somewhere else;  checking back it 
looks like someone else's initial attempt to get rWHOIS running provided 
the template skeleton I'm using.  I've recently tweaked it a bit further 
to match the ARIN-recommended template.

I can't comment on standard practice, but I'm planning on doing that 
with the server here.  *Supposedly*, according to what little 
documentation I've found, if you split the data the "org" object 
associated with a netblock is *supposed* to be returned along with any 
netblock records that point to it.  In practice, that doesn't seem to 
happen unless you -xfer the whole authority area.  Yick.
