OpenBSD rwhois implementation

I'm certain this has probably been answered before, but the lists don't
seem searchable and google is turning up little evidence.

Has anyone installed rwhoisd on a openbsd3.7 system?  I'm curious to know
how they got it to configure/compile.

I'm currently dying on the ./configure script and the inability to "cannot
compute sizeof (off_t), 77".  I'm debugging and studying code personally,
but was hoping for some insight.
