why it can not find the correct result when querying?

After I have setup the rwhois server, I found some problems that I can not fix them.:( I really hope some experts can help me.

The problem is that rwhois can not respond correctly when encountering some queries, that is to say, I have set the original text correctly(for example class Network),  then indexed without problems, and even I can found the corresponding recode in the index-cidr-0.ndx and index-exact-0.ndx, but when I queried some records, it responded "no objects"-- what 's the matter with that? Is it a bug in rwhois system? I tried to find the cause in the problems, but nothing found.

By the way, another question is about the referral class. Does it is a fake function? Because when I query in recursive, it only answer " referral whois:// ...   /auth-area="", although I have configed the punt referral in lower layer server, and referral class in root server.  The verson of  rwhois system is 1.5.9.
