The possible potential use of the protocol chosen by CRISP is an
interesting topic, but not one that determines which protocol the group
chooses. The requirements for the protocol and the usage scenarios which
it is required to address are documented and these form the bounds of how
we proceed. So I agree with you that scope is an issue, but think we have
to limit ourselves to the scope of the WG's charter, which was
deliberately focused.
As Ted said in his last msg:
