Throwing 2 and 4k url-encoded binary data in a URL is certainly not what
they were meant for and it has been known to cause problems with
software in the past. Otherwise, I would tend to agree with you. This
is why I favor Peter's solution. As for the differing of opinions on
the LDAP interactions involved: I honestly do not know.
