Not at all. The XML-RPC interface of Adam's Names merges two tasks:
provisioning of objects (the conreg and domreg procedures) and
querying of objects (the domquery and conquery procedures). In this
WG, I was referring to the second one, which can be seen as a
competitor to IRIS.

Besides the timing issue, there is the simple fact that one can
implement Adam's Names interface in one day, something that is far
from the huge complexity of EPP... (flames welcome but remember they
are off-topic in that WG).
